Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a Party, Fighting game developed by Nintendo.

Super Smash Bros. is in my opinion, Nintendo's best series they have to offer. It is a series of crossover fighting games with many different video game franchises included those not owned by Nintendo. This includes familiar video games like Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Sonic, Metroid, Final Fantasy, Street Fighter and more!

As of writing this page, there are currently six games in the series and each new installment adds new characters never seen before. In the latest title, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there are 75+ characters. This is drastically different compared to the first one in the series, Super Smash Bros. (Nintendo 64), where there were only 12 fighters to choose.

The gameplay of Smash is fairly simple. In its standard settings, you are to eliminate your opponents off of the stage within a set amount of time. Rack up a lot of eliminations to win! Unlike other fighting games, Smash doesn't use a health bar. Instead, Smash uses a percentage meter. The higher your percentage, the further your character will fly when they're hit.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate gameplay

Each character has their own unique attacks and animations to use which can promote different styles of play. Do you want to play heavy and hit hard? Try Donkey Kong. Do you want to hit fast and light? Go try Sonic! Want something inbetween like an average player? Try Mario. There are a lot of familiar faces to choose from.
